The issue is not present in Java, the lighting between two of the same types of block is different and can ruin cohesion in a build. I assume this is not intentional

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Place a sandstone/smooth sandstone block.
      2. Place its stair variant next to the sandstone block.
      3. Look at the backside of the stair and compare its lighting to the sandstone block.

      Observed Results:
The sandstone stair appears darker than the sandstone block.

      Expected Results:
The sandstone stair appears lighter, matching the sandstone block.
