The issue is not present in Java, the lighting between two of the same types of block is different and can ruin cohesion in a build. I assume this is not intentional
Steps to Reproduce:
- Place a sandstone/smooth sandstone block.
- Place its stair variant next to the sandstone block.
- Look at the backside of the stair and compare its lighting to the sandstone block.
Observed Results:
The sandstone stair appears darker than the sandstone block.
Expected Results:
The sandstone stair appears lighter, matching the sandstone block.
