What on Earth is happening with custom skins? When I start Minecraft my chosen skin will not load in the box to the right of the screen. Then when going to choose a skin I'm told that it's not cross-platform and if I try to join a multiplayer game it will be disabled!! WHAT???

Seriously, there have been so many basic glaring issues in the Beta versions over the last 12 months, it's if you don't even load the game before pushing out the next test!
