Noticeable delay when clicking settings button

      There is a noticeable delay (~2 seconds) present when clicking to open the settings menu. Clicking to close the settings menu has no such delay.

      Listen for the clicks signaling when I pressed the button compared to when the menu appeared. Other main menu buttons don't appear to have this problem.
