I have been trying to edit the Zombie Villager texture. My texture is the first attached file. In the Vanilla Resource pack found at minecraft.net there are 2 folders regarding Zombie Villagers (zombie_villager and zombie_villager2) in textures>entity. Screen shots of my edited folders and file address format are attached. I have tried replacing each texture with mine and renaming the file so minecraft knows what it is. Still the texture remains the same in game. I have already changed other mob textures in this pack successfully. The last attached image is edited textures next to a zombie villager with my pack selected. I even tried downloading a couple of 1.11 resource packs to see if their Zombie Villager textures work and they didn't.
