I was placing a sign (I had already placed about 15) when the game crashed. When I reopened the game, my character was location about 20 blocks directly up, inside a dark room that I use to spawn mobs.

      Possibly 2 bugs here.

What I expected to happen was...:
      1. The game shouldn't crash when I place many signs.
      2. Respawn should either be in the last known location or at the initial spawn point for the map.

      What actually happened was...:
      1. The game crashed when I placed a sign for the ~15th time.
      2. When I reopened the game, my character was in a different room, approximately 20 blocks above where I had been.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. I had signs placed every other vertical block for about the distance from sea level to bedrock, placed on the odd blocks (e.g. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9). I wanted to change them to being on the even blocks (e.g. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10).
      2. Remove signs above me.
      3. Place sign every other block.
      4. Jump and place several cobblestone blocks at my feet.
      5. Repeat 2-4 about 20 times before crash occurs.
