Landscape/blocks will not be able to load fast enough on a horse, causing your game to show the chunks in your render distance range fully, but mobs and animals will not show. I have told you the context below
Let's imagine a scenario that you are riding your fastest horse across a section of plains biome, with chunks loading in front of at a decent pace. As the landscape loads, mobs and animals will appear as you get closer. At one point you stop completely as if you have run into a wall of barrier blocks or reached the end of an old world. You can go no further, and chunks of the landscape closest to you will load in, however, those further away and any animals beyond the "wall" will not have loaded.
I have only ever had this happen whilst riding a horse, and the problem is usually fixed by reloading the world, and may sometimes also be fixed by riding away from the area and returning to reload the blocks.
The device I use does lag to an extent, but not only enough to occasionally cause blocks to load with a few seconds delay
When coming near or in contact with the "wall":
1. Auto-jump will often stop working
2. Any animals taking damage when touching the wall will become glitched in place
3. Blocks beyond the "wall" cannot be broken
4) The player/horse will take damage as if suffocating
I believe that it has to do with the game not being able to load properly due to a slightly laggy device and the speed that the player/horse is moving, however, I do think it's worth mentioning in case there is a genuine problem with my version of the game.
