Long story short: traveling around the area of a previous dog massacre results in the frequent random sound of a dog crying.

Long story long: There is a kid in our Realm who is passionate about collecting Minecraft dogs. She has this unfortunate habit, however, of attacking players who have Thorns on their armor. Many dogs have died on our server.

Not long after 1.11 was released, this kid attacked a particularly cranky guy who enacted retribution on all of her dogs.

Ever since then, we cannot place any blocks at Y-level 64 in a 21x21 square where the massacre happened. Also, everybody in the Realm keep hearing random dog cries as they fly/walk around.
