I was on one of my worlds and i was trying to trade a cleric villager after a raid, and there was some noticeable lag and the trade window wouldn't open. so instinctively i just decided to save and quit, and attempt to re open the world. but to my surprise, it would get to loading resource packs, then instantly be met with the screen "The software was closed because an error occurred." and it would bring me back to the Nintendo switch home screen with all of my apps.
