      Summary:

When screen animations are enabled, opening a GUI screen, closing it and then trying to immediately interact with something else is not possible until 1 second has passed.  For example, if you open a chest, close it and then try to immediately open it again after the GUI disappears, you won't be able to until a second has passed. This can also happen when placing blocks. If you close a GUI screen and try placing blocks right after the GUI screen disappears, you can't.
This delay only happens when screen animations are enabled. If they are disabled, this issue is not present.

The times this is most noticeable is when you're trying to quickly look through multiple interactable blocks such as chests.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Ensure screen animations are enabled.
      2. Place down a block with a GUI screen. (A chest, for example)
      3. Open and exit it and immediately after the GUI screen disappears, try to open it again.

      Observed results:
After the GUI screen disappears, the chest cannot be opened again for at least a second.

      Expected results:
After the GUI screen disappears, the chest should be able to be opened again immediately like when screen animations are disabled.

      Screenshots/videos attached: Yes.
