As stated by Jeb (https://twitter.com/jeb_/status/1108312583596068864), glass blocks (and other previously transparent blocks) are supposed to be solid, but without redstone conduction. He was talking about Java Edition, and Bedrock has always been like this. However, after testing with EVERYTHING I've found some issues:
Glass Blocks
-Doesn't connect to walls and fences;
-Can't support ladders;
-Can't support sea pickles;
-Can't support kelp.
Glowstone
-All of glass properties, except for the fact that it can support sea pickles.
Sea Lantern/Beacon
-All of glowstone properties, except for the fact that it conduits redstone signals.
What was actually expected:
-The glass behaviors that have been listed here should all be fixed, and all of the other blocks should act the same way.
