Considerable framerate drops occur frequently and randomly even when playing on lightweight maps as super-flat worlds, even if the render distance is minimal, and occur regardless of whether the "use experimental gameplay" option is enabled or disabled.

This is not a problem with my device. This has never happened in previous versions.
