The number of Item slots retains after switching the Split Controls Off or On. One of the way to reset it is to reset MCPE. (I'm using both Nexus 7 and Galaxy Note 10.1 and the case is the same for both devices)

What I expected to happen was...:
A) When switching the Split Controls to "On" for the first time, the number of item slots become less.

B) When switching the Split Controls to "Off" after that, the number of item slots will return (as before)

What actually happened was...:
A) When switching the Split Controls to "On" for the first time, the number of item slots retains while Split Controls function is activated (can run properly). i!SEE PICTURE: 1 and 2!i
This remains true until you reset MCPE, Or the number of item slots become less, as expected, before you quit the program. (I don't know how it happens but it does happen)

B) When switching the Split Controls to "Off" after that and after quitting MCPE, the number of item slots remains at 5 while the split screen controls function is no longer activated. i!SEE PICTURE: 3 and 4!i

This remains true until you reset MCPE.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Seeing that it is very useful to have more item slots, I hope the split controls does not affect or reduce the number of item slots.

2. Maybe add another feature in the option for those who doesn't like the idea:
-Big screen mode (more item slots; the number of item slots remains the same no matter what)
-Small screen mode (less item slots, more rooms for thumbs)

3. OR, please just fix the issue so that we do not need to quit the program so often just for reseting the number of item slots.
