On my friend's realm, we recently obtained end stone, end stone bricks, etc. We made walls out of them, and I noticed when he was holding them, they appeared as cobblestone walls. In the player's hand, though, they appear normal. (I do not know if there are other walls that do this, or if stairs do, etc.)
