I tried to make a resource pack that would replace background music and music discs with my own music.
I converted the music files to .ogg (without any file data such as song name, artist, etc.), I made sure I put them all in the correct places and renamed them.
When I loaded the pack into Minecraft, all of the music that I had replaced was instead replaced with complete silence, including music discs.
I checked the sound volume, everything was at 100%. I thought I may have been doing something wrong, so I downloaded a different resource pack to make sure. I loaded their pack into the game, but it did the same thing.
However, when I load the Adventure Time Mashup Pack, the background music has been changed.
The strange thing is, the recently released marketplace map, 10 Years of Minecraft by BlockWorks, contains its own resource pack that replaces 2 records. These records are replaced by silence as well.
I'm not the only one with this problem. I have 2 other friends that use the same version of Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition that are experiencing the same problem.
