A tree randomly began to burn while I was building nearby. After I dumped a bucket of water on it and completely smothered, the flame, I removed the water, wondering if it would catch fire again. It did, and I put water on it. A second time. It did not catch fire again once I put it out twice. There was no lava near the tree. My battery level was at ~5%, if that helps.
