Villages spawn very differently than they do in java. I understand its a beta so its not perfect, but most of the villages I have found dont have farms. The one that did had random tilled grass with only wheat growing, and paths were cutting through the middle of them. They were not in a wooden frame like usual. Also, about half or more of the chests in villages spawn without loot. Finally, the villages just spawn in weird places. There are random caves that cut through the farms and paths. Something about the generation causes grass blocks to spawn in small houses too.
