If you create a village from scratch (and sometimes natural villages), Villagers favor crowding in very specific houses of the village, changing the location with each block update of a door, torch or block in radius of the doors. This results in several dozens of villagers in one house. If the player happens to go inside it, it will be wishful thinking if you want to get out. Villager hit-boxes. consume the player interface and force the player to either slaughter several villagers or wait throughout the night to leave the villager house.

Additionally, villagers in radius of a village suitable area, closer and in visible sight, will favor the former village over the current, even when the villager recently "forgot" about the residence of the former village, only occurs when villager is in any form of radius or "remembrance" of the former village.
