I'll try to get screenshots the next time this occurs.  But I go to my house, which is secure and lighted, and save & quit.  A few times when I have resumed the game later, it says I have died and through the red haze/background, I can see my items scattered across the ground and I am outside somewhere.  When I respawn, I am back in my house, with no items.  I've gone outside and looked in the general area, but do not see anywhere close where I may have died or any items.  This doesn't happen every time, and I have yet to be able to recreate it myself, it just happens on its own.  I have made sure I return to my house and save/exit from that location every time.

This is on version 1.8.0 for Windows 10.  I did a search for similar issues where folks then respawned at their original world spawn point, but nothing that matched my scenario, so I created a new ticket.

I have also noticed a few other quirks since the upgrade.  When I save & quit while in a boat, I'll respawn out of my boat, maybe 10 - 20 blocks away.  I have also noticed that when travelling long distances, (1000+ blocks in a day) I will hit an invisible wall, and can no longer progress in a specific direction.  After reloading, the wall is gone and I can continue on my merry way.

Just wondering if all these quirks together indicate I may have some sort of corruption and need to reinstall?

I'm also running the ChromaHills addon, if that means anything.
