**Fireworks, when loaded on a crossbow won't deal any damage

**title is self explainatory. Only the explosion will deal some damage but it won't explode on contact.

what I expected to happen

1. (without firework star) The firework would hit the mob and damage it.

2. (with firework star) The firework would hit the mob, damage it, explode and damage the mob once more.

what happened

1. didn't do a thing, the firework passed through the mob.

2. Didn't do a thing either, the firework would once again passed through and exploded in the distance.  It would hurt the mob, but only when the mob was standing where the rocket would normally explode.

how to recreate

**1. put firework in off hand

2. load firework on crossbow

3. shoot at mob
