When generating a world or loading into a world (untested for servers), users are able to suspend the app by navigating to the home screen or changing to a different app. When a user does this, the app has to stop what it's doing if what it's doing is not on a background thread.
When a user suspends the app during the world generation/loading process, it appears to cause an issue where the entire in-game resources are unavailable until the world is reloaded.
A proposed mitigation may be to restart world loading/generation as soon as the app is unsuspended.
Also, apologies for the incorrect model number appearing in the screenshots attached below (SM-G920F matches that of the Galaxy S6, not the Galaxy Note 5). I run a custom ROM based on the Galaxy S6 with a kernel built for the Note 5, however I've confirmed the issue on other devices as well.
