On xbox when when downloading / updating Minecraft a couple of things dont work properly. First off when your downloading minecraft for the first time or when you need to download a update the console side download progress bar in the guide and games and apps screen does not update properly. Essentially what happens is that the progress bar works for a little bit but then gets stuck and does not update correctly for the remainder of the download. Secondly when there is a update available for download the console does not display the popup that says that the game needs an update and the game starts up normally even though a update is available for download (other games & apps will close immediately, show you the update prompt, and when a update is available or downloading it wont let you start the game until the update is finished). Please note that these are not console side issues because these issues do not happen with any other game.
