Recently I've noticed that when you lead a mob and the lead breaks it still appears as if the lead is attached to that mob. No matter how faraway you go from the mob it still shows you are leading it around. I've only tested it on a few mobs but so far it has only affected the horse and donkey in survival mode only. In creative mode this didn't occur, but the lead took forever to actually break.
