I was building in an old landscape, and I decided to create some lamps using two pieces of fence, a redstone lamp and a daylight sensor. I set the daylight sensor to night, but when night arrived, the lamp didn't turn on. I tried building more in other places, and they worked just fine. I realized the lamps which didn't work were rather close to the edge of the landscape, so I wondered if that had something to do with it.
I later started building a large structure on this nice looking hill at the corner of the landscape, and decided I wanted to use iron doors. I tried using levers and pressure plates, but neither worked. I then placed a dispenser to test, and attached a button to the side. When I pressed the button, the dispenser wouldn't work. I had made many redstone mechanisms around the world, and only the ones near the edge of the landscape failed to work.
After telling my brother about the issues I had been experiencing, he said he had also experienced the same issue with powered rail, also by the edge of the world. I was using a Nintendo Switch, and he was using a phone, which implies the problem is with bedrock edition.
