I believe I clicked the trade button a bit too fast, and traded with two villagers at once. However, one of them soon got a permanent emerald above their head, making it impossible to trade with. I hoped that unloading the chunk would solve the issue, but it only made the emerald disappear. I could not trade with the villager anymore. I ignored the issue, but it happened again. This time, a villager that I desperately needed to use got locked. So, I'm wondering how I could fix it, or if it could be fixed in the next update. I desperately need that villager, and this is absolutely problematic.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a room full of villagers.
2. Using the Pocket UI without crosshairs, move your camera around while tapping the trade button constantly. You only need to do it twice on two different villagers at once; in order to make it easy though, just press constantly.
3. Press exit out of the current villager trade.
4. Now you should see a villager with a permanent emerald above its head. You cannot trade with it.
5. Rename the villager to make it easier to come back to.
6. Unload the chunk and come back.
7. Try to trade with that villager. It doesn't work!
I can confirm that other realm members cannot trade with that particular villager either.
