If you accidentally try and add a trade to an already full stack the trade is allowed but you lose the trade and the traded item. Bug. The trade should not take place at all. With the new bug/design feature no longer allows multi trading but instead have to stack each emerald separately when you have a mountain of veg to trade, accidentally adding to a stack of 64 emeralds is easy to do.
