The world cannot be opened/loaded when entering a world in mcpe v.1.6.0.1

It is stuck on the "Loading Resource packs" screen. I've tried everything to fix this problem like
re-downloading minecraft, deleting all my worlds, but it still doesnt work.

What Happened :

• I heard that there was a new update "v.1.6.0.1" with the new Phantoms and
  new Barrier blocks. So, I updated my mcpe excitedly.
  After I updated it, I opened mc, immediately opened a random world, and then noticed
  that my screen is stuck on the "loading resource packs" screen while loading the world.
  I decided to wait for atleast 1h and 30 minutes to load the world, but still stuck in that screen.
  I now decided to restart mc, still not working.
  deleted my worlds, still not working.
  re-downloaded mcpe, still not working.
  I now decide to report it to bugs.mojang.com for it to be
  fixed.
