While playing Minecraft 1.2.13 on a 2017 iPad (5th generation tablet, not listed above) using touch controls and Classic UI, item labels and contents are not displayed when their item/container is selected/highlighted in any open menu screen.
For example:
If a shulker box renamed "Monkey's Carry-all" containing an assortment of redstone equipment is in my inventory, I can no longer see the listing of its contents when tapping it within my inventory menu. The only way to see the name of the shulker box (or ANY item for that matter) is to move it to my hot bar, close the inventory windows and THEN select the shulker box in my hot bar.
While this may not seem like a huge deal to some, considering the bug only effects touch screen players who are using the Classic UI, this becomes a HUGE deal when wanting to quickly look through a chest full of such items - sorted shulkers, nametags, enchanted books ALL become a HUGE hassle to use. Just consider what it's like to sort through a double chest of enchanted booms to find those perfect enchantements to Combine for your gear. Each book needs to be moved to the hot bar with the chest/inventory/menu window closed before you can find out what books you've selected from your library.
Attached is a screenshot taken within 30min of the 1.2.13 release on a 2017 ipad (5th gen tablet, not jail broken, MC purchased legitimately from Apple App Store) of the error showing that it is impossible to see which enchanted book you're looking at. This is an open shulker box of enchanted books.
Error has been duplicated using iPhone 6s, and iPhone 7 as well.
Error does not occur using Pocket UI.
