In Windows 10 Edition while playing in fullscreen, minimizing the game or using alt-tab to exit will cause the client to hang and reload all chunks when returned to, which is very jarring.
To reproduce:
1. Open Windows 10 Edition and enter a world.
2. Enter fullscreen (not simply a maximized window but actual fullscreen).
3. ALT-TAB to switch to a different application.
4. ALT-TAB back to Minecraft.
5. Immediately start trying to interact with the game. Everything will be completely unresponsive for two seconds or so.
6. Click "resume" as soon as the game begins responding. All chunks will be reloaded at once, which is distracting and probably unnecessary. Note that this only happens in fullscreen.
