I have edited my post to better meet the quality standards of this website.Thank you.
What I expected to happen was:
To find wolves in packs of up to 5, herds of sheep in 3’s, and other mobs spawning as groups or herds
What actually happened was:
Incapable of finding mobs spawn in as ‘groups’ or herds. Only one mob found at a time, regardless of biome or mob type(llama, horse, sheep, pig, wolf). Thus making it incredibly rare to find horses, wolves and llamas especially.
Steps to reproduce:
-Log onto IOS Minecraft V. 1.2.11
-Create survival world(no mods)
-Search for mobs(switch to creative for faster search)
My origional and wordy post is below. Feel free to read it still.
,I created a new world for myself to play in only, and I have yet to see any passive or friendly mobs spawn in ‘groups’. After approx. 30-50 hours of gameplay and exploring 6 level 4 maps covering numerous biomes(including MANY taiga and forest and deserts), I have found one Wolf, one Donkey, two horses and a couple Llamas. But never multiple of any animal at the same time; I.e, The one time I found a wolf he was alone, both times I found the Llamas they were also alone.
Also cows, chickens and pigs, parrots and ocelots spawn a lot less common, and one at a time(I understand some are supposed to).
It seems any mob that is supposed to spawn one at a time does about fine. But any that is supposed to spawn in groups (like horses, who should spawn 3 at a time), struggles to spawn whatsoever.
Anyways there is some really funky stuff related to group-spawning mobs going on in my world. I do not want to scrap my world as it is Vanilla survival and I have put much work into it. I would be pleased to know if anyone else has similar problems, as it could indicate that it isn’t just only my world..
All informational replies appreciated. I am going to make another survival world on my iPad IOS device and see if the same happends.
Thank you for reading.
