I recently downloaded a PVP texture pack and put it on global settings so that way I could use it on a server.
But it appears that the texture pack is too old and corrupted to work in the current versions.
All I can access is the starting menu, and the buttons are all misplaced, but still function, it's not like the buttons are still where they are meant to be, but appearing in the wrong spot, the moved.

If I attempt to go into anything, PLAY, SETTINGS, nothing happens. It is simply just the background and nothing else. The buttons are not invisible, they are gone, there is nothing to click

I would just hope that my worlds aren't gone forever, as I've spent countless hours on my SSP world, building GOOD THINGS, not just crappy wooden boxes like the average novices. I landscape, I build detailed builds, I do Redstone, and much more.

Please, for the love of god, do something about this. An easy solution I can think of is that in the next update, all texture packs can be disabled, and have to be reapplied.

Help me. Please. Don't close this unless you can give me a solid answer, and if you redirect it, PAY ATTENTION TO THE PAGE YOU REDIRECT IT TOO.
