Friend invite not working

      I am playing on pc Windows 10. Previously I could invite friends to join my world. They are playing on the Xbox. Now when I send invites none of my friends receive the invite. I have checked to see if they are able to join from the friends tab within minecraft on the xbox and whilst some are able to join others are not.
