Android 5.1.1, Samsung Tab 4. SM-T537V

I logged onto the game and was where I expected to be with my normal inventory. I tried to kill a spider in a boat with a flame aspect sword. It was raining. When I pointed to the spider, the TRADE button appeared. The TRADE button did nothing when tapped. When I struck the spider smoke appeared briefly. After 10 hits, the spider was still there. I logged out and back in. I was in a different location. I was not where I started with the last load, I was not where I left the character when I logged out. All of my inventory was gone. Things that I had worked on last night were back to a previous state. I tried several times to log out and in and keep getting the old version of the game..
