Enter a Nether portal, open a chest/menu at the right time, then walk out of the portal. If done correctly, said chest should still be open, but you cannot access it, or any other chests/menus. The only way to fix the issue is to exit and enter your world again. Attempting to enter the nether after taking those steps will crash your game, which is why the clip ends as it does.
