      Update by Mega_Spud:
      Summary:
When placing snow layers against the side of a block, they do not stack in the adjacent space beside as expected. Instead, they stack up two blocks away, as shown in the attached gif clip.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Place snow layers against the side of a block

      Observed Results:
The snow layers end up being placed two blocks away.

      Expected Results:
The snow layers should be placed in the free space next to the block.

      Screenshots/Videos attached: Yes

      Notes:

      Original Description:
Ideally the snow should be placed directly next to the block targeted just like how all other blocks do, but it is instead placed two blocks away from it for whatever reason.
