Split screen in the vertical orientation cuts off the map to the right of the left as if the maps dont adjust to fit the vertical orientation. this bug has been the reason why i dont play mc that much any more, also this bug has not been reported to my knowledge and has been there sense the beta versions of minecraft bedrock on the xbox one. thanks for your time and i hope that the bug can be fix in due time. have a merry Christmas.
