So a little while back I started noticing some odd things happening with snow in tundra bioms. The first thing I found is that while light sources and fire melt snow, if you save the world and rejoin, all the melted snow has reappeared and no longer melts from the light source or fire, you have to physically mine it. Second thing I found, when the snow build up and compiles more than a block high, it gains properties similar to sand and gravel, where you can clip through it by looking at one of the sides, and it will suffocate you if in survival (not sure if this is a bug but I feel it's worth mentioning along with the next thing) third, snow currently has issues stacking correctly. At the level just before a full block, the snow will destroy and solid block placed next to it except more snow. I found this after building a fence around my house, and going out the next morning to find it disappearing as it snowed. There is one final thing I found where if you put fence down on the ground, snow will get taller, like if you miss the block you were aiming for and hit the center line of two hit boxes, it makes the snow grow. I will update this post later with screenshots. Please comment if you've experienced any of these same peculiarities.
