In the recent XBox One Editions we are able to place an arrow in the 'Equipment' box to the right of your character at the feet. When you do this 1) collected and/or created arrows automatically go to this location first and 2) the arrows show separate from, but just to the left of the HUD quickbar items - displaying the arrow count also.

In the new cross-platform edition you can place an arrow in the 'Equipment' slot, and you can place multiple arrows there - but collected/created arrows do not automatically appear in the slot, nor does the equipment box appear to the left of the HUD quickbar.
