Update So I think I found out what's causing the bug- the developers are no help. I had no connection to the internet and I decided to wait through the freeze that happens when I go from one screen to the Worlds/Friends/Servers gui and when I pressed the play button but the game didn't freeze. When I established a connection to the Internet again, the game froze, but as soon as I turned it off, the game unfroze. The bug has something to do with MCPE retrieving or uploading data to the internet, probably loading the servers. I use an AT&T WiFi router hooked up to an Internet booster that protects the Internet and all that crap. Please, fix the bug!
Main device with the bug: Tablet - Android - Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0
Second device with the same bug: Phone - Android - Samsung Galaxy S5
A bug I have reported on MCPE about the game freezing when I press the play button or exit a world or disconnect from a server has not been patched. The public version of the Better Together update has been released and the bug still takes place. I can't play Minecraft now, and I wish there was a way to downgrade versions. Please fix this bug in future updates and if you can, unrelease the public update from these devices so people on my same devices that are most likely facing the same issues won't have to face them anymore- all they would have to do is uninstall and reinstall.
