I'm playing on an iPad Mini with Retina Display. I'm not sure when exactly, but one or two MCPE updates ago, my custom skin stopped working. I even tried making a new one just to be certain the png wasn't corrupted somehow.

What happens now is that MCPE will let me select a skin file, but my player avatar will turn 100% black. I can still confirm the skin selection, and I can attempt to launch a game, but them I get the "Invalid or corrupt skin" dialog.

I have tried rebooting the game, rebooting my iPad, uninstalling/reinstalling the game and starting a fresh save file, uninstalling/reinstalling the game and restoring my old game save. Same result across the board.

I realize that someone has reported this issue in the past, but they were on Android, and I didn't see anyone report this issue on iOS. If the fix is the same, then I wasn't able to parse exactly what to do from the jumble of comments below the post. I would really appreciate your help.
