Verification builds:
1.2.0.7 Retail

Summary:
When using the classic UI option, there is no way to effectively use the 3x3 crafting grid, as there is no way to take out crafted items.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Using the classic ui option, open the creative inventory
2. Place items to craft into the crafting grid

Observed Results:
There is no way to obtain crafted items there.

Expected Results:
There should be an output box for manual crafting, as you would see with a crafting table.
