There is a glitch which occurs and only affects the owner of a world. The glitch is that some chunks will randomly decide to never load. In earlier versions, the game would detect them and eventually force them to load. Also, when in the unloaded chunk, sometimes it teleports you weirdly and the visuals are all messed up. Effects overworld and the Nether. Entities and sometimes cave systems will show up unaffected, however.
