I host a world on my windows 10 computer and my girlfriend plays using her Samsung Galaxy tab A. Sometimes when she connects to the world, her items are gone. Sometimes they are saved. Sometimes she will connect and get an inventory that she lost days ago.

Its weird. Sometimes everything is fine, sometimes if she gets disconnected and reconnects everything is gone, or her character is reverted to a previous location, previous inventory and previous level meter. Other times she connects to the world and her saved inventory and levels are correct. This doesn't happen every time, just often enough to make the game unstable for anyone except the server host.

I had found similar reports stating this is "intentional" but how could this possibly be intentional? Players inventories should be saving on the world side. This was never an issue with the Java version. My research indicates this has been a long term ongoing problem. We have experienced it on a common basis since at least 1.0.5. There is no way this is "intentional". This is a bug and it needs to get fixed. Players playing on a server on a windows 10 machine shouldn't have to worry about their inventory and levels getting wiped. The only player not affected by this bug is the host playing on the windows 10 machine itself. I was surprised to not find this bug at the top of the list of issues.

This is not at all related to Realms, but hosting locally using the games internal options to do so.

As is, multiplayer is basically not playable for anyone except the server host as items and levels can be lost at any given moment. Sure, we can store in chests before logging out but 1) You shouldn't have to do that, and 2) Sometimes a random disconnect can happen (despite being hosted over a lan and connected on a wire with the tablet being next to the modem on a wifi connection) and have an inventory and levels lost that way. This bug makes the game as a whole frustrating and unplayable for couples that just want to play together without having two beefy computers.
