Every time I quit Minecraft and go back into the game, it resets the game as if it were just installed from the app store. This affected me from 1.1 and still now! Everything is reset from skins ( I can not use a custom skin), controls (I use swap jump and sneak and button size 100), Xbox Live sign out (I may join realms, etc.)
