I am experiencing a problem while playing multiplayer on a Realms server in Minecraft Bedrock Edition (mobile version).

Initially, everything worked fine, but suddenly, a massive number of slimes started spawning near our base, causing the world to lag significantly. As a result, it has become nearly impossible to place items or play smoothly.

I suspected the issue might be related to a slime chunk, so I investigated and placed half blocks to prevent spawning. However, slimes continue to spawn in large numbers, and the situation has not improved.

Moreover, slimes are spawning at heights above Y40, which should not meet their spawning conditions. Even after killing all the slimes, the lag does not go away.

This issue occurs specifically when someone is present near the base. If all players leave the area, the world becomes lighter and smoother. However, as soon as someone returns to the base, slimes start spawning in large numbers again, and the lag returns.

Is this a game mechanic or a bug?

If anyone is familiar with this issue, I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to resolve it.
