I am currently attempting to grow Mangrove trees on my superflat world in my custom mad swamp biome and I have been trying to grow them on perfectly wide open and flat terrain yet it refuses to grow. If I then replace the mud with dirt, grass, etc, it grows perfectly fine. It appears to not want to grow on mud either in or out of water and I know it's not a space issue as it has over 20 blocks of flat mud to grow on. I'm confused that Mangrove Trees can't grow on the blocks that their entire biome is made of.
