High render distances use 20GB+ of memory.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open Minecraft
- Open Task Manager in the performance > memory tab on a separate monitor.
- In Minecraft, lower your render distance to 16.
- Create or enter a world.
- Increase your render distance to 50+
- See Task Manager eating up all your memory.
Observed Results:
- Minecraft uses 20GB+ of memory.
Expected Results:
- "Render Distance" should not use multiple gigs of memory.
