In worlds created prior to 1.17.40 (as of my testing) and or updated to the Non-Preview (1.21.30 currently) changes parts of the Nether Biomes to an Overworld Biome (most likely Ocean) upon reloading for a second time wiping out the Nether Biome data in some chunks.
Steps to reproduce:
- Import the provided test world into 1.21.40.23 Preview and load
- Observe the Nether Biomes are expected
- Enter the portal and come back or Exit the world and rejoin it
- The Nether Biomes switched to an Overworld Biome and the fog is gone
The Overworld and End dimensions are also affected by this issue.
