Trading for emeralds using second slot causes game to crash

      When trading paper with villagers, the game will allow you to trade 3 times and on the 4th trade, it will crash. Currently I'm able to work around the issue by closing the trade menu after the 3rd trade and opening it again, repeating this process for however many emeralds I want.

      This is on a realm on survival with normal difficultly. I have restarted my PC and have tried both yesterday night and today to see if the issue was resolved. I have tested this with my brother who is also playing on the windows version on a different PC, lives in a different address and his game also crashes. Before the patch yesterday, this wasn't an issue.

      The video attached first shows how I work around the issue by trading 3 times then closing while next part shows what happens when I trade 4 times.
