We can see through the world through the Spawners. Caves, lavas and even underground structures are visible through the Spawners. For example, go to a Stronghold's Portal Room. There's a Silverfish Spawner. Walk near it and then you can see some underground caves or something with the spawner. This bug is found in all types of spawners, such as Cave Spider Spawners and Skeleton Spawners.
